With a property heritage that goes back 100 years, Stephen and Simon Chown head up Chown Commercial Chartered Surveyors aided on a day-to-day basis by Amanda Gibson, Kerrie Archer and Laura Powell. Stephen has been a member of the RICS for over 35 years and is a director of Chown Commercial. Agency, management and professional advice.

Simon Chown

B.Sc.

Simon has 25 years experience in the commercial property market and is a director of Chown Commercial. Agency, management, investment and development.

Amanda Gibson

Amanda has over 30 years’ experience in the property industry, from a Conveyancing Secretary, Residential Sales & Lettings, and has worked as part of the Chown Commercial Team for the past 9 years. Amanda deals with the daily property management and ensures the office runs smoothly acting as our Office Manager.

Kerrie Archer

Kerrie has been with us for over 8 years, and is a valued member of the team, dealing with all aspects of the day to day running of our Accounts Department. Kerrie evaluates account processes to promote best practices and ensures we comply with our governing body, RICS.

Laura Powell

Laura is now in her fourth year with Chowns, and is a valued asset to the team, working alongside Kerrie in our Accounts Department. In addition to her account’s role Laura heads the company Block Policy Buildings Insurance, promoting and encouraging our landlords to join the policy ensuring they have the best possible cover.
