Established in Northampton as Chowns Limited in 1884, the Chown family made their name in Northamptonshire initially building houses and schools across the country, before the business was sold to Taylor Wimpey in 1984.

Following the disposal of Chowns Limited, Stephen and Simon Chown established Chown Commercial and acquired Ashby Lowery Commercial Management in 2003.

At Chown Commercial we have a hands-on approach to working with our clients. Whether it is property acquisition, occupation, asset management, planning, development, disposal and management, a member of our senior team will be involved at all stages. We have in-depth knowledge of local and national property markets with expertise in all aspects of the commercial market.
